As our Robotics QA Tester, you will be focused on testing our real and simulated autonomous robots. Identifying bugs in an autonomous robot can be challenging as there is a lot going on “under the hood”. Your job will be to execute defined tests, but also to look for issues beyond the scope of regular test cases. Testing is executed on real robots in our test facility in Radnička cesta, Zagreb (50 m from our offices).

Who you will be working with?

The quality assurance team ensures that the quality of the autonomy software components & the quality of the autonomy stack reaches their maximum and that the customers, in the end, get the product they want.

We are looking for a student available for full-time work (or near full- time, 32+ hours weekly).

Responsibilities we'll trust you with:

  • Execute tests on robots in simulation and real environments, find bugs, and document them
  • Precisely describe bugs and reproduce them
  • Test robotics solutions according to a given test scenario/test case, report failures and attach relevant information (logs, bags, description)
  • Propose solutions and improvements to the current testing methodology
  • Assist developers in replicating discovered bugs

Your area of expertise:

  • Basics of UNIX/Linux
  • Familiarity with Jira or other bug-tracking tools
  • Basics in scripting programming languages (Bash, Python)
  • Excellent English skills, especially in writing
  • Ability to write clear and precise bug reports
  • A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving

Bonus points:

  • Interest in the robotics and AI field
  • Familiarity with software QA tools
  • Familiarity with Robot Operating System (ROS)
  • Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools
  • Familiarity with hardware robotic components, such as sensors and actuators (camera, LiDAR, drive systems, etc.)
