Join us on April 23rd for FERConnect, an event organized by the FER Alumni Board. This gathering of FER alumni will take place at FER in hall D1, starting at 5 p.m. The event is open to the public, so everyone is welcome to attend!
At this spring edition of FERConnect, we will celebrate the success of FER's robotic team which recently won a world-renowned international competition (MBZIRC) at the finals in Abu Dhabi. We will hear all about their journey to the top, and how they managed to overcome much larger competitors with far more financial resources.
The runner-up in the competition was a team from KAIST (The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), which has an annual budget of 900 million USD. However, even with all their resources, they were unable to create the best robotic solution. The victory went to the team of 18 members from FER, who had invested in their capacities, gained exposure to strong international competition, and transferred knowledge from generation to generation.
Their success was the result of hard work and dedication, and they truly deserve the recognition of being at the top of the world in robotics. Come to FER on April 23rd to hear all the details about their path to success.
