Infineon and FER invite you to the Academic Cooperation Opening Ceremony

We are happy to invite you to the Opening Ceremony on the occasion of the beginning of the academic cooperation between Infineon Austria and FER.

The event will take place on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Gray Hall, starting at 10 a.m.

The cooperation will advance the future development of energy-efficient technologies for decarbonization and strengthen one of the areas of key European expertise in the field of microelectronics and power electronics. The cooperation is focused on research and development of microelectronic solutions that systematically reduce energy consumption, as well as on education in the aforementioned research areas.

With the goal of expanding the STEM talent pool in Europe, the collaborators also plan to launch educational initiatives at FER, specifically focused on power electronics. In parallel, Infineon Austria will offer students a range of benefits, from field-specific workshops and support for PhD students to industry internships for Bachelor and Master students.

The cooperation is part of the activities of the company Infineon Austria within the framework of an important project of common European interest in microelectronics - IPCEI ME.
