Short description of project
The expected result of the project is development of functional model of advanced meging unit ("NMJ") that will be able to provide three basic types of measurements: sampled values and digitized phasor measurements. Development of NMJ with this functionality would allow the complete removal of wiring measuring circuits and building of fully digital secondary systems - local processing systems. At the same time, NMJ is a source of digitized measurements necessary in the further development of technologies related to smart grid. The project includes investment in equipment and labor costs and is divided into four phases: - Development of hardware required to support the new requirements for time synchronization, - Upgrade the AD process and filtering, as well as the development of processing algorithms to support the required precision and dynamic response measurements, - Development of algorithms to support the necessary communication protocols and - Testing of functional models in the laboratory
