Short description of project
For the purposes of control and monitoring of the modern systems in the field of power engineering and transportation in order to gain their efficiency, safety and reliability, it is necessary to acquire and process information about the systems. Due to the nature and complexity of the physical processes and realization of the systems, some process variables may be very difficult-to-measure and the information usually cannot be retrieved by direct sensing. The main hypothesis of the project is that the control and monitoring of the complex industrial systems in the field of power engineering and transportation can be improved by developing mathematical model-based measurements and by their implementation in robust intelligent measurement systems.
