Short description of project
Complex systems are field of research that appeared in the last fifteen years. This field is focused on the research of individual agent behaviour and their interactions in systems such as market, society, biological systems, computer and electrical networks. The basic structural unit of a complex system is called an agent. Connections between agents comprise the structure of a complex system. Problems such as description of: disease spreading, metabolic networks, financial market and markets in general, or distributed computer systems are all included into a category which can be modelled and analyzed by similar methods. Due to availability of real data we are going to focus our research in this project on: a) market, with emphasis on financial market, b) Internet communities, c) protein interactions.
