Short description of project
This research should show how to synthesize an ultrasonic filed of needed intensity in a limited volume of tissue inside the scull. For this reason, it is necessary to make an analysis of energy loss of the ultrasound wave while passing through different layers of tissue, which are very different in their specific acoustical impedances. It could be used to make and control a composed ultrasonic transducer array that could be used to reversibly neutralize (sonoporation) the brain-blood-barrier of the head through the intact outer and inner head structure
