Short description of project
The goal of the project is to test the possibilities of Horizontal Current Bipolar Transistor (HCBT) Technology by designing the frequency mixers in integrated circuits. These would be the first radio-frequency (RF) circuits in new, low-cost HCBT technology, which is invented and patented at the University of Zagreb, Department of Electronics. Fabricated chips with mixers are planned to be patented and offered at the market as discrete components and/or to be integrated with other circuits building a more complex RF system.
