Short description of project

The project aims at providing added value to the existing semi-industrial project [1] by: (i) development of novel models for traffic sign detection and recognition; (ii) strengthening the existing cooperation between the two computer vision research groups with the goal to facilitate future joint FP7 project proposals; and (iii) supervision and training of a young Croatian researcher by a distinguished Austrian professor. Short description of the task performed by Croatian partner

The Croatian partner designs and develops novel techniques for traffic sign detection and recognition, based on analysis of apparent motion of the traffic sign projections in the image plane.
