Organizational behaviour and projects
Data is displayed for the academic year: 2024./2025.
Course Description
The course deals with the relationship between projects and project organizations that implement them. In many organizations, projects are a vital mechanism for implementing enterprise strategy and adapting the organization to a turbulent market. In the modern organization, effectiveness and implementation are primarily determined by the environment the organization creates for projects. Within the course, the relationship between the organization hosting the project and everything that defines the project will be viewed in more detail from a constructively critical perspective. In many organizations, projects are a key mechanism for implementing an organization's strategy, with the effectiveness of that implementation determined mainly by the environment the organization creates for projects. The course will also analyze the theories of organization, as well as the factors influencing the choice of the appropriate organizational structure. The design of the organizational structure is observed through the prism of the star model, and traditional and modern organizational structures are explained, as well as the ways in which projects are conducted in them. Special emphasis is placed on projects and project management, as well as the relationship between the company's strategy and the projects themselves. Projects as drivers of change, often generate organizational conflicts. So the importance is attached to the management of organizational conflicts. In that sense, it is also essential to observe the development of organizational culture. Response to change implementation and communication about change. The course also provides a basic understanding of interactions between employees in the work environment. Personal, team and organizational processes, their analysis and evaluation. Importance and application of organizational behaviour analysis from the perspective of employees, project and organization.
