Signal processing applications

Data is displayed for the academic year: 2025./2026.

Course Description

Various topics of the digital signal processing (DSP). Application of DSP in vibration and spectrum analysis, digital speech processing, audio synthesis, perceptual audio coding, echo, and noise suppression, and signal dispersion compensation in communications will be covered. Realization of optimal digital filters for measurement, sonar and radar. Multirate DSP will include the polyphase decomposition and perfect signal reconstruction, subband coding, rate conversion, oversampled AD and DA converters. Speech and data encryption.
