Strategies for future energy supply and importance of security of supply. Models for long-term analysis of the power market. Optimal investments under centralised and decentralised decision making Investment decisions on market, uncertainties and risks to the market participants, time changing demand for electricity and uncertainty of input prices. Optimal investments in power generation under uncertainty. Carbon legislation and modeling emission trading at electricity market. The investor s risk preference. Leveled cost of electricity.
