Dear Erasmus students,

the midterm exam will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 starting at 8:15 a.m. in the room A-209, as indicated in your calendars. The exam lasts 150 minutes.
The exam includes the materials of the first teaching cycle with the included lecture Image feature extraction and the first and thesecond laboratory exercise (theoretical part).
The maximum number of points on the intermediate exam is 30 points. The threshold for the intermediate exam is 6 points. The threshold for the sum of results on the midterm and the final exam is 50%.

The rules for writing the mid-term exam are as follows:

  1. For the exam only pencils, erasers, blank papers, a calculator and a water bottle are allowed. It is not allowed to use mobile phones, smart watches, headphones, etc.
  2. The exam will be taken on the Moodle platform.
  3. You can take the exam on faculty computers or on your own laptops.
  4. While taking an exam online, you must be in a Full screen mode (press F11).
  5. Multiple choice questions do not carry negative points.

Recitation/Problem Solving Session for the course Digital Image Processing and Analysis will be held on Friday, April 19th (tomorrow) at 17:15 in room D152. We will demonstrate solutions to typical problems which may appear on the midterm exam.

For the 2nd laboratory exercise, you have to solve Jupyter notebook 2, which you can find on the Files/Laboratory/Laboratory exercises subpage. 
You have to write the code at specific locations inside the notebook and answer each question written in the notebook.

Submission deadline 

The exercise should be submitted via the Moodle platform by Sunday, April 21st 2024, 23:59h.

Submission guidelines

The submission is performed by submitting one Jupyter notebook (.ipynb, not .zip), whose title should follow the template: DIPA_LAB_2_NAME_SURNAME.ipynb. Additionally, the output of each cell needs to be visible - Do not clear/delete the outputs!  

Laboratory consultation

If you have any questions regarding the tasks in this exercise, you can come to the consultation on April 15th, 2024, 11:00 a.m. in room D-138.

The introductory meeting for the course Digital Image Processing and Analysis for Erasmus exchange students will be held on Thursday, March 7th, in room D152 starting at 16:15.

We kindly ask all Erasmus exchange students to participate so we can discuss all the organizational details of the course.

Regular lectures for the course Digital Image Processing and Analysis which are scheduled on Thursdays from 9:00 till 11:00 will be held in Croatian language only.
