A meeting of local Tempus Kisek partners took place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb, on December, 12th, 2007.
Besides "core" project partners, other persons interested in the project attend the meeting: Ms. Teuta Tomac from CS Computer Systems and prof. Krešimir Fertalj from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of electrical engineering and computing.

During the meeting, project partners have proposed their visions and ideas of SE competence centers, which mainly consisted of means of implementation. Various themes, such as the number of competence centers, mutual interests, legal issues and education were addressed. An example of a SE competence center for software quality in Paderborn (s-Lab) was presented as a possible way of organizing. The need to better connect universities and industry, especially in the science field was emphasized again.
A small group from industry partners will be created, to create a concrete proposal of centers based on the industry needs.
