Smartphone and Tablet Extraction of Anthropometric Measurements (STEAM)

The project STEAM deals with the  problem of 3D model reconstruction from an image collection or videos for the purpose of extracting useful anthropometric information from 3D human models. The main goal of the project is to create robust and reliable methods implemented on mobile platforms such as smartphones or tablets.

We are proud to announce that two of our papers, entitled "Towards Keypoint Guided Self-Supervised Depth Estimation" and "Scene Adaptive Structured Light 3D Imaging", have been accepted to the VISAPP 2020 conference held in Valletta, Malta. VISAPP is part of VISIGRAPP, the 15th International Joint Conference on Computer Vision, Imaging and Computer Graphics Theory and Applications, which aims at becoming a major point of contact between researches, engineers and practitioners on the area of computer vision application systems. Five simultaneous tracks will be held covering all different aspects related to computer vision: Image Formation and Preprocessing; Image and Video Analysis and Understanding; Motion, Tracking and Stereo Vision; and Application and Services.
