On November 12, 2021, Mateo Beus successfully defended his thesis "Model predictive control in hydro turbine power control" under the Scandinavian model after publishing three papers in JCR journals. Members of his PhD committee were prof. Mato Baotic (UNIZG-FER), prof. Andrej Jokić (UNIZG-FSB), prof. Igor Kuzle (UNIZG-FER). Mateo was a teaching assistant during his studies and now he is a postdoc with UNIZG-FER.
