Our Department hosted the traditional ZVNE football pool for the results of the European Football Championship. This is a chance for employees and friends of the Department to fight for eternal glory. The pool has been held for every European Championship and World Cup since 1982 with a few exceptions. The participants guess the champion, rank the four leading teams as well as guessing the result of the first match played by Croatian team. Even partial guesses earn points for advancement in the official ranking of ZVNE pool participants. The first place is currently held by Radoslav Zelić, a long-time laboratory technician at the Department, followed by many notable names of Croatian electrical power engineering such as Hrvoje Požar, who holds 33rd place.
