PowerTech Belgrade 2023 conference held

At the IEEE PowerTech Belgrade 2023 conference , several members of the Department actively participated. On the first day of the conference, which took place on Sunday, June 23, 2023, Professor Igor Kuzle, Tomislav Baškarad and Matej Krpan attended the Transit project tutorial under the title "Innovative Training and Education on Renewable Energy Systems: Towards the Future Resilient, Sustainable and Carbon-Neutral Power Systems" where Matej Krpan delivered the presentation „EMT modelling and simulation of grid-forming converter control“.

Professor Kuzle and Dr. Rachid Cherkaoui (EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne)) co-chaired the session Frequency Control I which took place on Tuesday, June 25, 2023.

On Wednesday, June 26, 2023, prof. Kuzle presented „A brief history of higher education in power engineering in Croatia“ within the panel discussion on Power Systems in South-East Europe. 

Tomislav Baškarad attended the special session titled "TRANSIT Project: Leading Innovations and Technological Solutions for a Sustainable Future" and our researcher Tomislav Antić presented his paper "The Importance of Technical Distribution Network Limits in Dynamic Operating Envelopes" in the "Renewable Energy" poster session.
