ZVNE made a contribution to the highly successful international conference SUNNY DAYS 2023, held in Bol, Brač, organized by the Renewable Energy Sources of Croatia (OIERH) on May 25th and 26th, 2023. The conference brought together 400 participants and over 60 speakers. The value of this event was recognized by various institutions, and it was supported by the European Commission, the Government of the Republic of Croatia, SolarPower Europe, the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction and State Property, the Ministry of Agriculture, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the European Investment Bank. Representatives of European institutions, ministries, Croatian and regional energy institutions, academic community, equipment manufacturers, banking sector, local communities, and civil society organizations discussed key topics for the stronger development of solar energy projects. A lecture titled "The Role of Energy Storage in the Energy Transition" was delivered by Ninoslav Holjevac, and the presentation served as a basis and introduction to the panel on "Hybrid Systems and Energy Storage.
