Our assistant Sara Raos, participated in „Regional Training Course on Energy Supply Assessments for Energy & Climate Strategies“ organized by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Podgorica, Montenegro from 6 to 17 March 2023. The regional training was organized under the IAEA technical cooperation project RER2018, “Analyzing Low Carbon Pathways towards an Ambitious Decarbonized Energy Sector by 2050”. The purpose of this event was to train participants in the application of the IAEA tool MESSAGE for techno-economic energy supply assessments of ambitious decarbonisation pathways, including towards net zero emissions by 2050. The event gathered 20 experts from 14 different European and Asian countries. Each country team developed the regional model of each country’s power system in the MESSAGE model.
