IEEE ISGT-ME 2023 held

Professor Igor Kuzle delivered a keynote speech on Operational Risks and Fast Frequency Control in Future Low-Inertia Power Systems at the 2023 IEEE Innovative Smart Grid Technologies - Middle East (ISGT-ME 2023) at the Khalifa University Main Campus, Abu Dhabi, UAE on March 12-15, 2023.

Other keynotes were distinguished professors Nikos Hatziargyriou (National Technical University of Athens, Greece), Claudio Canizares (University of Waterloo, Canada), and Bikash Pal (Imperial College London, UK).

This conference was attended by other members of our Department as well! Vedran Bobanac, PhD. presented his work „A Method for Quantifying Battery’s Fast Charging Ability and Application to Different Lithium-Ion Chemistries“, Mirna Gržanić, PhD. presented a poster „Is Dynamic Energy Sharing Really Necessary? The Case Study of Collective Renewable Self-consumers in Croatia“ and Ivan Grcic presented his poster „Artificial Neural Network for High-Impedance-Fault Detection in DC Microgrids“.

We would like to thank the organizers for a successful conference and an opportunity to disseminate our research results!
