Our researcher Vedran Bobanac, PhD, participated at the "International Battery Seminar and Exhibit 2022", the longest running annual battery event which showcases the latest technological advancements in battery and energy storage research as well as design and manufacturing for applications in automotive, stationary and consumer electronics.
He presented the poster titled "An Accurate Charging Model of Battery Energy Storage" which describes laboratory procedure to obtain accurate dependency of the battery charging capacity on its state of energy. This dependency is the basis for the proposed accurate battery model which outperforms the baseline model, as verified by experiments on li-ion battery cell. Vedran also attended numerous presentations and networked with industry experts. By participating in this conference, he acquired new knowledge and got acquainted with global trends in the field of batteries.
