Abstract
Methods for auto white balancing and brightness adjustment are important for achieving higher image quality. There are many of them and they differ in terms of accuracy, computational cost and area of application. A short overview and of evaluation of these methods is given.

Nikola Banić was born 21 June 1989 in Varaždin. He got his master's degree in computer science on 5 July 2013 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb under the mentorship of Sven Lončarić, PhD. His research areas of interest include image processing and analysis (especially white balancing), computer vision and machine learning.
