Short description of project
The main objective of the Action is to increase the knowledge on future advanced Multiservice Wireless Networks (MWNs) and specifically on traffic nature and behaviour and its impact on network architecture, performance and planning. Special attention must be given to Quality of Service and related aspects in both access networks and core networks in the presence of mixed multimedia traffic. To accomplish this, new analytical tools, software implementations and prototypes have to be developed. The activities carried out in this Action will bring benefits not only at the national level, but also at the European level. Results will strengthen the position of European research activities and industry in these fields and will help to define new innovative approaches for the QoS provision in the presence of multimedia traffics in mobile networks. 
Short description of the task performed by Croatian partner
FER is involved in Working Group 2 “Mobility and Interoperability”, with a contribution related to Quality of Service adaptation and negotiation in next generation networks and further development of the Dynamic Service Adaptation Model.
