This Conference was organized by Montenegrian Academy of Sciences and Arts with
participation of Central European Initiative, and international lecturers from Germany, Italy,
Spain, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia nd Hercegovina and Serbia.
Zdenko Simic has presented invited lecture, and paper, under the title “State and Prospects of
Renewable Energy Sources Use in Croatia”. Renewable energy sources are important in the
future low CO2 energy strategy, but they also present challenge with integration in the power
system related to different issues like reliability and safety.
