The project partners will contribute symmetrical know-how to the project. FER has a vast experience in dealing with SCADA issues (with a particular focus on the power generation and power grid management sector), and has specific staff conducting research on agent technologies usage in critical systems.

On the other hand, Politecnico has an extensive competence on security and safety, control systems and agent-based technologies in the medical and ICT fields. By bridging these two competencies and upgrading them with proposed training sessions, joint activities and time as planned for this project, we believe we jointly have all the knowhow and the competencies that are needed to bring this project to a favorable conclusion.

Also, the Politecnico already discussed in past the potentials for cooperation with the JRC at Ispra on SCADA security initiatives, and we would leverage this cooperation in the design and testing phases of the SCADA-NG project.

The project will be carried out according to the outlined goals in work packages as shown in the project activities table.
