As Luka Lugaric participated in preparation for the proposal for the “Intelligent Information System for Monitoring and Verification of Energy Management in Cities” (ISEMIC) project, points of cohesion were already established in advance with this SfP project. ISEMIC project is funded by SEE-ERA.NET plus programme, part of EU FP7. More info is available at: http://www.fer.unizg.hr/isemic. Participants met in Novi Sad for the first technical meeting where project plan implementation was discussed.
At the meeting the project objectives and most effective ways of achieving them were discussed, including the creation of a software system for utilizing measurements from smart meters and subsequent data processing and analysis and installation of a smart metering equipment in at least one selected building in each participant country for conducting a pilot smart metering projec. Planned components include smart electricity meters and a water meter with impulse output, sensors for measuring outdoor and indoor temperature, gas meter, optical display, impulse output and with interfaces to a data acquisition system – SCADA.
All managerial and operational staff was present, from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Serbia, creating a great potential for networking which was effectively utilized in the interest of this project.
