Project meeting with REGEA in Bracak

The meeting of the DECIDE project took place on November 16, 2023, in the Bracak Manor near Zabok. The meeting was attended by representatives of the North West Croatia Regional Energy Agency (REGEA), and by LARES researchers Vinko Lešić, Mihael Jakšić, and Filip Vrbanc. The meeting covered the thermal modelling of the Bracak Manor building by our research team. Results obtained by this model were commented on, and also a potential to use the given model in advanced control strategy which leads to higher energy efficiency.  Moreover, DECIDE IoT equipment was presented, including controllers, sensors, switches, etc. During the meeting, the installation of DECIDE devices in Bracak Manor was agreed upon, as a next step in the development of a suitable control algorithm for heating and cooling.
