Laboratory for information security and privacy (LISP)

Welcome to Web pages of Laboratory for information security and privacy. The Laboratory was established by Faculty council on a 643. regular session held on December 17th, 2014. The Laboratory gathers scientists from Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing whose research interests are within domains of information, and more general, digital security and privacy. The head of the Laboratory is  assist. prof. Stjepan Groš, PhD and vice-head is assist. prof. Marin Vuković, PhD.

Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing has a reputation of top research and education institution in Croatia, but also in the region. The reputation is a consequence of a decades of work of experts and scientists which are employed on the Faculty. Information security and privacy is one of the areas of work done by scientists on the Faculty. Still, until the Laboratory was established in 2014. there was no coordinated activity. With the establishment of the Laboratory it is expected that it will allow:

  1. Application for of a more demanding projects that will allow solving complex problems.
  2. Easier networking with similar institutions, agencies, laboratories and others in country, EU and the rest of the world.
  3. Making activities done on the Faculty in the area of information security and privacy more visible outside of the Faculty.
  4. Allow for producing more experts in the domain of information security and privacy.
