China + Croatia = great combination!

It was an honor to host PhD students from Tsinghua University from January 24th to 31st. Thanks to Professor Tomislav Capuder and Professor Ning Zhang, we organized a PhD Day where students of our department and our guests presented their research directions and achievements on the following topics:

💡 How to bridge the gap between theory and practice - energy communities and local energy sharing in Europe and Croatia, Mirna Gržanić.
 
The established connections and discussions have provided a solid foundation for further collaboration between our department and Tsinghua University. Moreover, our guests had the opportunity to explore the center of Zagreb and visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park, Trakošćan Castle and the Museum of Krapina Neanderthal, while enjoying local delicacies.
