On Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, students of the first year of graduate study within the course High Voltage Technology and Electromagnetic Compatibility, led by professor Božidar Filipović-Grčić and assistant Franjo Vuković, visited KONČAR - Electrical Engineering Institute. During the visit, students had a unique opportunity to see the testing capabilities of several laboratories within Končar Laboratory Center, which offers comprehensive range of services including testing, calibration, and certification to ensure product compliance with relevant standards and directives. A great part of the visit was devoted to the new High Voltage Laboratory and currently ongoing tests on underground and subsea HVDC cables. We also visited R&D part of the Transformer Department, dealing with design and testing of insulation models for power transformers. We would like to thank Dalibor Filipović-Grčić, Vjenceslav Kupresanin, Bruno Jurisic and their colleagues who warmly welcomed us and took us through the Institute facilities.
