Our Tomislav Baškarad has been awarded the "Vera Johanides" Award by the Akademija tehničkih znanosti Hrvatske (HATZ) (Croatian Academy of Technical Sciences). This prestigious recognition is given to young scientists under the age of 35 who have demonstrated significant scientific or professional progress or contributions in their field over the past five years.
The award was presented on June 2, 2025, during the 55th Annual Assembly of the Croatian Academy of Technical Sciences, held at the Faculty of Architecture, Geodesy, and Civil Engineering at the University of Zagreb.
As part of the award ceremony, Tomislav Baškarad delivered a lecture titled “The Impact of Renewable Energy Sources on Frequency Control.”
