It is our pleasure to invite you to a lecture, as part of the Croatian Nuclear Society's forum, entitled "Models of Financing the Construction of Nuclear Power Plants", which will be held on Thursday, June 12, at 4:00 PM at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (Siva vijećnica, D-033).
The lecturer is Ms. Ana Stanič, E&A Law Limited, London, United Kingdom.
Ms. Stanič is an English, Irish and Australian lawyer with over 30 years of experience in the fields of energy, environmental protection, European and international law. She has been engaged in legal advice on the construction of large energy projects such as LNG terminals, gas pipelines and nuclear power plants, and in the resolution of interstate border agreements, investment arbitrations and commercial arbitrations. In the past few years, she has been appointed as an arbitrator multiple times, mainly in energy disputes, but also in other commercial international disputes all over the world. Since 2019, she has been a member of the permanent court in The Hague, and in 2022, the European Commission appointed her as an arbitrator and sustainability expert in the field of environmental protection to resolve disputes between the EU and other countries. Ms. Ana Stanič is currently an honorary lecturer in international arbitration at the University of Dundee in the UK.
