Conference MIPRO, which was held in Opatija, May 23-27, was a great opportunity to present our European research projects in collaboration with the Croatian TSO – HOPS. We presented projects CROSSBOW, FLEXGRID, FARCROSS and ATTEST. We took this opportunity to introduce our students who are currently working on their Master theses to our world of research and projects. We also took this opportunity to visit hydropower plant Senj, one of the largest power facilities in Croatia. The working part of this trip was fulfilled with a joint dinner with our students, where we listened to their experiences during their studies and learned their visions and thoughts on the job market in the power industry. We learned that many of them already work or have a stipend, proving their high value in the European job market.
