At the conference ‘’Better Education for Better Croatia’’ (Bolje obrazovanje bolja Hrvatska), held on April 5, 2022, our Professor Hrvoje Pandžić presented an innovative control framework for the Smart Grid Laboratory. This laboratory is essentially a microgrid containing a hydro power plant, rooftop photovoltaics, battery energy storage, supercapacitors, controllable loads and distribution lines. The presented control framework is based on the laboratory's control framework and is realized using Microsoft Hololens glasses. More videos on the laboratory mixed-reality are available here.
