ICECOM Satellite Workshop, Dubrovnik

Start date: September 30, 2019

End date: October 2, 2019

Space industry has been rapidly developing in the last twenty years, and space-based services and space programs, or the terrestrial sector in the broader sense (such as the EU Copernicus and Galileo programs for Earth observation), create socio-economic added value and thus help in the development of each participating country. Unused capacity when launching large satellites enables the launch of small satellites of standardized format as secondary payloads at acceptable prices for universities. This allows small users to launch nano-satellites and pico-satellites for scientific purposes or for educational missions. The aim of the ICECOM Satellite Workshop is to cover relevant topics related to the design of small satellites and in particular to the scientific missions of small satellites.
