I would like to thank the team for their first effort in getting the baseline for the work all figured out!
Everything else will be easier, you'll see:)
javabluetooth source has been commited to CVS, please examine it till Tuesday.
[everything is the same for Eclipse, except for the project name - it's javabluetooth instead of Harald-NG]
[there is also a link to the authors homepage in the link farm]
I uploaded the existing Harald codebase to the CVS (orson.rasip.fer.hr). You should have gotten your logins for that machine.
Detailed how-to on Eclipse & CVS
is posted below, in the docs folder.
Please report any problems you might have getting the source!
p.s.#0 the source is still a little bit messy, this will improve during the next few days:)
p.s.#1 if you haven't got Eclipse yet, I'll have it on CD's for you on Thursday, just state your need!
p.s.#2 you don't know what Harald is?
Shame on you! Check that link #2 in the link farm:)
Below I posted some essential project documentation.
Since we will be looking into Service Discovery Protocol (SDP), Serial Port Emulation (RFCOMM) and OBject EXchange (OBEX) protocol, I've extracted the relevant portions of the Bluetooth 1.1 specification.
If you don't have any Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) coding experience, I would suggest that you take a look at the MIDP guide in the link repository (or find some similar reading, concentrate on Connector class and Generic Connection Framework - GCF).
Team members will be notified of any new uploads in this section.
