Visit to Beijing Jiaotong University

As a part of activities of a Croatian-Chinese research project "Rotating remote field eddy current technique for nondestructive inspection of ferrous tubes", LISS team visited Beijing Jiaotong University (BJU). Prof. Ze Liu (School of Electronics and Information Engineering, Magtomo Lab) presented the research activities of their laboratory related to the field of nondestructive insopection of rails using electromagnetic tomography and railway control and signaling systems. Both teams discussed current activities of the project, as well as new research ideas. Asst. prof. Darko Vasić held a lecture to the students of BJU related to the research activities of LISS and the Croatian-Chinese project.

While in Beijing, LISS team also visited China Agricultural University. Prof Zhang Xiaoshuan (Department of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Research center for Internet of Things and Big Data) presented the research activities of their laboratoty in the field of food quality and safety control. Both teams discussed the topics of joint interest and the possibilities for future cooperation.
