Biography
Željka Lučev Vasić received the Dipl.-Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in 2007 and 2014, respectively. She is currently an associate professor with the Department of Electronic Systems and Information Processing, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb. Her professional and research activities are in the field of intrabody signal transmission and biomedical electronic instrumentation and measurements. She teaches courses in the field of biomedicine, development of electronic systems, and sensor technologies. She received the 2020 National science award for her work in the field of intrabody communication and muscle fatigue monitoring using electrical impedance myography. She is a member of professional societies IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), IFMBE (International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering), and CROBEMPS (Croatian Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics Society).
