The Intelligent Field Robotic Systems (IFRoS)

The Intelligent Field Robotic Systems (IFRoS) is a 2-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's degree programme with 120 ECTS. The programme is divided into four semesters of 30 ECTS each. The project IFRoS partners are the University of Girona, Eötvös Loránd University and the University of Zagreb. At the University of Zagreb the program is conducted at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing.

IFRoS is aimed at a new generation of engineers who will develop new applications and tools to extend the capabilities of field robots in the near future. The technology underlying these systems comes from various research areas such as artificial intelligence, computer vision, control, sensing, machine learning and manipulation, all of which are evolving at a rapid pace in the current digital revolution. IFRoS addresses the lack of master's degree programmes dealing with intelligent robots and in particular field robotic systems.

IFRoS is aimed at students who have obtained a first degree in areas related to computer science, mathematics, robotics or similar fields of study and wish to deepen their knowledge in the field of robotics.

The University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing is participating in the Master's programme in its second study year. More information about the programme can be found at https://ifrosmaster.org/.
