FER participated in Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) 2026, the leading event in the field of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region, held in Hong Kong from 23 to 27 February 2026. The 19th edition of the conference gathered more than 2,500 delegates, over 300 exhibitors, and representatives from more than 65 countries and regions worldwide.

Representing the Faculty were the Vice Dean for International Cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Ana Drandić, PhD, and Assoc. Prof. Fausto Ferreira, PhD.

FER took part within the national pavilion of the Study in Croatia initiative, together with 12 other Croatian faculties. This marked the first time that Croatian higher education was presented in this part of the world under a unified national brand, highlighting study programmes, scientific excellence, and opportunities for academic and research cooperation with partners from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

By participating in APAIE 2026, FER further strengthened its international presence, developed new partnerships, and contributed to the visibility and recognition of Croatian higher education at the global level.
