At the session of the General Assembly (GA) of the European regional metrology organization EURAMET, held on January 17, 2023, prof. Damir Ilić, PhD, was elected as a Head of the Technical Committee for Electricity and Magnetism – TC EM.

Professor Ilić will hold the position from June 2023 to May 2025 and will be the first person from the Republic of Croatia appointed to the position of Head of the Technical Committee in the full technical sense (so far only the head of the TC Quality was elected from Croatia).

Professor Damir Ilić has been the head of FER's Primary Electromagnetic Laboratory (FER-PEL) since 2009, and since 2007 he has been the representative of the Republic of Croatia in EURAMET's TC-EM Committee.
