Pristupačnost
Year after year, FER study programs are at the top of the list of the most popular programs among high school graduates. We are already used to the exceptional interest of candidates in our study programs in the Croatian language, where this year we are also seeing an increase in the number of applicants compared to the same period last year. Namely, the total number of registered high school graduates in mid-July 2022 (just before the announcement of the provisional results of the state matura exam) rises to 2,759, of which 1,273 chose FER as their first choice.
However, we are even more pleased with the high school graduates' interest in our programs in English, which we launched last academic year. Interest in these study programs has almost tripled compared to the previous academic year.
Together with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, FER also conducts a very attractive, unique and up-to-date study program Study of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Sources in the town of Šibenik. This year, we are enrolling the eighth generation of students, and the interest of graduates has increased by 84 per cent compared to the same period last year.
FER traditionally attracts the best students from Croatia which is supported by the fact that out of the thousand best high school students in mathematics and/or physics, almost half of them enrol on FER.
