For a significant scientific achievement in the field of technical sciences - biomedical engineering, the Annual State Science Award was presented to Assoc. Prof. Željka Lučev Vasić, PhD, and prof. Mario Cifrek, PhD on 16 December 2021.
Assoc. prof. dr. sc. Željka Lučev Vasić and prof. dr. sc. Mario Cifrek were awarded for their research on the development of wearable sensory nodes using the human body as a communication channel and for their contribution to the development of a new method for estimating muscle fatigue using signals measured by four-electrode electrical impedance myography in Fujian, China. Scientists from FER have established a collaboration with researchers from Fuzhou University, Fujian, China and the University of Macau, Macau, China, which has resulted in six joint projects to date.
During 2020, our researchers have published their scientific achievements in six scientific papers in international journals. Four papers were published in journals in the first quartile - Q1, and three papers in a special session at a leading international conference in the field of measurement and instrumentation IEEE International Instrumentation & Measurement Technology Conference (I2MTC 2020).
Congratulations to our colleagues on the well-deserved award!
