Engineers who graduated from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering in the academic year 1967/1968 were awarded Golden Diplomas at the 682nd Ceremonial Session of the Faculty Council, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of graduation.

During the Session, the best FER students in the previous academic year received "Jospi Lončar" recognition certificate, while FER also awarded a number of Croatian high schools for great contribution to the high-school education of FER students, in the form of awards to the best ranked candidates in classification procedure for enrolment at FER in the academic year 2019/2020.

The best student works by FER students from the area of electronics, achieved in cooperation with industry and small or medium-sized enterprises, received "Željka Matutionvić– Sunčica" annual award for the academic year 2017/2018, while "Stanko Turk" award was presented for an outstanding graduate thesis in the field of computing for the academic year 2017/2018.

The attendees were greeted by FER dean, associate professor Gordan Gledec, Ph.D., and after the Golden Diplomas award ceremony, they were addressed by professor Vladimir Mikulčić, Ph.D., who spoke on behalf of the award winners.

In the musical part of the session, guests were entertained by FER women’s vocal ensemble Resonance, who performed "Hey Jude" and "Što me čini sretnom".
