Virtual Collections

Virtual Collections of the University of Zagreb 

The project "Virtual Collections of the University of Zagreb - Vizbi. UNIZG" was launched in 2020 in cooperation with the University of Zagreb. The aim of the project is to provide the public with an insight into the digitised material of the University's constituent units.

FER, its history, as well as the influence of the Faculty and its staff on the wider scientific community are presented through 160 records and several virtual collections of digitised material.

The virtual collection "Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing" contains many valuable works and documentation depicting the history and development of the Faculty. The collection contains editions of FER and works by prominent individuals who have influenced the development of the Faculty and technical sciences in Croatia.

The virtual collection "Technical Sciences" contains material depicting the history and development of technical sciences in Croatia.

The Topotheque of the University of Zagreb

"The Topotheque of the University of Zagreb" is a project that was launched in 2019. This virtual archive aims to present to the public a part of the rich archival heritage related to the history, development, organisational changes and activities of the University of Zagreb.

The various collections of FER are part of this virtual archive documenting the activities of the Royal Technical College in Zagreb, the Faculty of Engineering, the ETF and FER, which shows their importance for the scientific, cultural and social life of the University of Zagreb, the City of Zagreb and the Republic of Croatia.The virtual archive is available at https://unizg.topoteka.net/
