Biography

Krešimir Malarić was born on January 30, 1969 in Zagreb. He enrolled in MIOC in 1983 and completed high school at Bishop Miege High School, Shawnee Mission, Kansas, USA. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Zagreb in 1991 in the field of Radiocommunications and Professional Electronics on the topic "Satellite communications with time distribution", mentor: Prof.dr.sc. Zlatko Smrkić. He received his master's degree from the same faculty in 1994 on the topic "Measurement of transponder parameters on a satellite", mentor: Prof.dr.sc. Zlatko Smrkić. He received his PhD from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb in 2000 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb with the dissertation topic: "Analysis of transmission structures with homogeneous field distribution in the radio frequency area", mentor: Prof.dr.sc. Juraj Bartolić. Since 2016 he is a full professor at the Department of Radiocommunications. From January 1, 1992 to December 31, 1995, he worked at the Department of Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering and Electrical Measurements.

In 1992, he completed the Course for Diplomatic and Consular Affairs of the Republic of Croatia. In 1994, he graduated from the Business School for Engineers (Diploma Study in Management - DSM). In 1996, he passed the Professional Exam in the field of Electrical Engineering. Served military service. He is the bearer of the Homeland War memorial. He has published over one hundred and sixty papers. He is married. He speaks English and German and to a lesser degree French, Italian and Latin.
