CIT

CIT. Journal of Computing and Information Technology is an international peer-reviewed open access journal covering the field of computing and information technology, i.e. computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, information systems and information technology. CIT endeavours to publish stimulating reports of original scientific work. This primarily includes research papers on theoretical and practical issues as well as case studies describing the application and critical evaluation of theory.

The beginnings of CIT date back to 1992, when, at the initiative of the University of Zagreb, it was decided to launch a new scientific journal relevant for the dynamic fields of computing and information technology. The first issue of CIT was published in March 1993 and has been financially and technically supported by University of Zagreb Computing Centre SRCE for 23 years. The first web version of the journal was published in  2002. Since 2016, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing of the University of Zagreb has been the new publisher of CIT. The Faculty strives to continue the high-level publication standards and maintain the highest scientific quality of the Journal.
