Control of Electromechanical Systems

Data is displayed for academic year: 2023./2024.

Course Description

Electromechanical system (EMS) structures. Characteristic effects in electromechanical systems: friction, backlash and elasticity. Classical approaches to control of EMS. Advanced approaches to control of EMS: Sliding Mode Control, Model Predictive Control and Intelligent Control. Application examples: wind turbines and transportation systems.
