Project management process groups: initiation, planning, executing, controlling, closing. Planning techniques. Schedule compression. Team work. Project manager role and profession. Authority, responsibility, decision making, negotiation and communication management. Conflict management. Financial analysis. Software project specifics. Project management tools. Project documentation. Project evaluation and lessons learned.

Lectures where the topics of the course are presented. Invited lectures by industry experts.

Seminars and workshops

Students organized in teams initiate project that they administratively monitor by creating various project documentation and participating in simulated project approval and audit processes

Independent assignments

During the lecture, students will be given independent assignments to better understand the concepts presented. Preparation for the laboratory which includes independent research.
